War of the Worlds documentaries
In Lime Class, we have been listening to Jeff Wayne's 'War of the Worlds' as part of our 'space' topic. The children have done lots of writing based on the musical, and have now made their own documentaries about what might happen now the martians have taken over the world.

European Day of Languages
The whole school looked very colourful on Friday in their European flag coloured clothes!
There were lots of European activities during the day. Willow class produced art in the style of Monet, tasted Spanish tapas, looked at and played French Boules and made Irish leprechauns! The children in Key Stage 2 produced German art in the style of Paul Klee, did French orienteering, made Italian pasta and sang Welsh songs. It was a very busy day!
