We had a wonderful afternoon on Tuesday. The children and their families had a picnic on the field with staff, before enjoying rounders, biscuit decorating, maypole and playground games.

Stop Press!

Class 2 have made news reports about the plight of Borneo's endangered orangutans.
We found out about deforestation and the dreadful impact it is having on the country's wildlife as part of our Rainforests topic.

Sheriffhales joins the world of work! Can you guess what the children want to be?

Thanks go to Rev Chris, Mary Jones and Gordon Tonkinson for helping Mrs Guy and Mrs Riley to conduct our Y5 and 6 'job' interviews. Matthew and Ethan got the jobs!

Athletics at RAF Cosford

Years 3 and 4 had a lovely day at RAF Cosford on Tuesday 8th July. The team represented the school brilliantly at an inter-schools athletic tournament.
A big 'WELL DONE!' to Lucia in Year 3 who came second in the final of the Y3/4 girls' 400m race.
Thank you to the parents who came to support and cheer our children on, and to Mr and Mrs Skidmore for lending us their gazebo.

We were so proud of the choir and musicians today who entertained a large audience of local residents and parents with their fantastic singing and playing. Well done, everyone!
